Brewed on commission for Kuhul Brewing Co.
Kuhul, originally a term for Al-Kuhul, an ancient eye makeup paste, also became the root of the word 'alcohol', meaning "distilled essence". Kuhul’s NEIPA showcases a hazy hue and bursts with tropical fruit aromas and citrus zest. It pours naturally cloudy with a smooth, juicy mouthfeel and a balanced, subtly sweet finish. Expect a silky, crisp body. Dry-hopped generously with Citra, Idaho 7, and Galaxy.

Draught Head gone after scant seconds; utterly muddy pale yellow beer. Spicy nose, oriental/curry spices. Faint citruspeel, lactose and lactic acid. Rather a faint, if present bitterness, than acidity. Hints at sweetness that cannot break through, grainy. Citruspeel, pineapple and faint asafoetida. Citrusoils. Oily feel, medium bodied at least, not very carbonated. Original, but it seems to hesitate a bit where it wants to go, rather than achieve real balance.
