Drawing on Ideas from our years of brewing experience, this India Pale Ale takes the snappy whole flower bitterness of one era and brings in the heritage malted barley and traditions of another.
Way Back When brings some lovely apricot and melon notes with a depth of floral bitterness and fresh cut grass.
This is the first Ideal Day beer that we have dry hopped. giving the beer a new level of texture and fresh hop aroma.
A big nod to the past, updated with our own present day brewing style.

Frothy off white head on a murky deep golden coloured body.
Stone fruit & banana aroma.
Medium to full bodied, smooth & creamy with an almost chewy feel to it - clean in the back.
Stone fruit, orange, earthy & pale malt tastes with a long bitter finish.
