A robust export stout, conditioned on single-origin vanilla beans from Uganda’s Kasese region. Sourced directly from farmers, these beans deliver unmatched freshness, fair pricing, and a distinctive depth of flavor. Expect layers of creamy vanilla, milk chocolate, and dried fruits, all carried by a rich malt bill of Golden Promise pale, brown, crystal, chocolate, and roasted barley. Fermented with our expressive house kveik yeast, this stout is bold, smooth, and full of character.

330ml draught at Balthazar, share with Finn. Almost black in the glass, film-type layer leaving dotted spots on the glassware. Roasted malty aromas, hints of chocolate. Dark malt forward taste character with moments of cocoa-chocolate joined by liquorice. Drying close with earthy chocolate, gently roasted. Medium bodied. Nice. (Tromsø, 13.01.2026).

Can from Against The Grain. Dark brown body with a thin beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of cherry, chocolate and coffee. Flavour of hazelnut and vanilla. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Luxurious and sweet - sweeter than I was expecting for a coffee-influenced beer.
