This DDH Double Hopfenweisse has been brewed in collaboration with our mates from Cloudwater, as part of our latest postcards adventure.
Not the style you'd expect two hop-forward breweries to make and that's exactly why we did it!
Heavily hopped with Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin and Citra for waves of citrus and tropical that intertwine beautifully with the expressive banana and clove from the trardional hefe yeast.

Without wishing to be too difficult, taking a European style, making it really strong and dumping a shitload of fruity hops in it is hardly unexpected from either of these two breweries. Anyway. Can. Very cloudy yellowish orange with a large white head that lasts very well. Aroma of various fruit (papaya, gooseberry, Meyer lemon) soft tangy dough, cloves. Little banana, which suits me fine. Hefe-like but maybe a little cleaner than expected with soft yeasty dough, tropical bubblegum & lots of cloves accented by the fruity hops. Feels biggish but no overt alcohol. Excellent.
