Draft on the Brewpub. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma and flavor is coffee, pine, grapefruit, roasred malt, chocolate, licorice.
On tap at the brewpub. A good looking one, quite roasted for the style, but with a good piney hoppyness. Hints of licorice and dark chocolate, even charcoal. Nice. 747415 251010

Tap @ the brewpub. Dark brown, very close to black body under a fine, lacing beige head. Aroma has dark, medium roasted malt, pine with hint of coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, dark, smooth roasted malt, some pine, hint of dark chocolate and bitter expresso coffe with a decent and balanced bitterness. Balanced body with a slightly roasted and pleasant bitter aftertaste. A pretty straight forward, pleasant black IPA.
