This impeccable, copper-hued Ale will make any happy hour or cookout better.
Each crisp, clean taste reveals nuances of brioche toast with hints of honey and clove like esters. Wildflower accents add a rustic flourish before it all culminates in a snappy finish with touches of herbs and spice.

33 cL bottle. Pours a hazy, orange color, with a big, foamy, tan head. The aroma is orange peel, grains of paradise, caramel, cloves, and mild juniper. Sweet and citrusy, with a mild, zesty bitterness. Light to medium body, grainy, and chewy. Bright, tasty, and on-style.

Capped 375 from Tavour. Pours clear orange gold with a very large off-white head that went from creamy to foamy. Aroma is rather floral with some herb notes. Med body. Dry. Somewhat bitter. Flavor is floral/herb with some yeast/clove spice. A little honey. Very nice.

Rating number 8,668, a palindrome! Also, my 400th Brewver Top 50 beer rating. This calls for a special beer style; hence this Biere de Garde from River North. 375 ml bottle from Tavour. Pours an effervescent Amber orange topped by a large, rocky, bone-colored head. Toasted malt aroma has earthy, bready notes. Some caramel sweetness as well. First sip brings notes of toasted malt and sweet honey. Soft, supple mouthfeel. Clove-like notes. Dry, spritzy finish. Tasty.
