Keg at Blue Palms for the release party. Pours with a hazed deep amber to copper body with a off-white head that lasts for a little while. Aroma of green and red peppers, black pepper, garlic, hatch chilies and some acidic notes. Basically it smells like the sauce. I like the smell, but I am dreading the taste (not a fan of pepper beers, despite liking spicy foods). Hmm...its really not that bad. Slightly sweet and fruity (estery) at first, then some heat, garlic and pepper in the finish. A few hops somewhere in their. Salty and a bit oily. Oily texture light bubbles. Not as bad as I was imagining.
