The last day of summer might officially be September 21, but when pumpkin spice is in Starbucks, football is on the TV, and the Halloween decor is already hitting store shelves, I’m saying the summer is dead, long live the fall! And you can bet I’m kicking off the new season with Wayfinder’s Pale Autumnal Lager!
Tasting Notes
Aromas like a warm cup of chamomile tea kissed with vanilla invite you in. On the sip, light sourdough and dried hay tones lead with just a touch of sweet cream. Notes of toasted brioche and just a hint of hop spice build as you swig before a finish that’s snappier than a crisp autumn leaf.

16 oz can. Aroma is grassy, corny. Pours clear golden with a half finger cap of off-white foam with pretty good retention. Taste is sweet and chalky with grassy, corny flavors. Needs more bitterness and less sweet malt for me personally.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a moderate and transient white head. Aroma like a very, very light Czech pils. Med body. It's malty/bready, so there goes the Czech pils thing. Though it does have some hints of grass/spice. Decent lager.
