A dark lager with bold roasty notes of coffee, charcoaled wood, and cocoa. Surprisingly light bodied, smooth and incredibly drinkable, perfect for those who crave rich flavour without the heaviness.

Dark brown with a nice frothy head. The aroma has some butter…the palate not so much, more on the really dry toastiness thing. Doesn’t bring much complexity…it takes a special schwarzbier to do that.

On tap at The Magnet, pours black with a large tan head. Aroma has a nice dry, earthy, crusty bready malt character. Flavour is dry, with earthy notes, dry bready malt, and toasted malt. Dry, easy-drinking. Nothing special but competent.
