Draught at MBCC 26, Red Session. Black in the glass, covering beige head. Inviting smell and flavours of coffee-chocolate joined by oaky moments. Nicely roasted chocolate malty finish, well bodied. Enjoying on a Saturday morning in Copenhagen. (Øksnehallen, 23.05.2026).

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, coconut, caramel, biscuit, raspberry, vanilla wafer, taste is sweet toffee, tart raspberry, coconut, chocolate, vanilla. Like a chocolate coconut truffle. 8/8/9/9/8.5

Bottle, 375ml. Felt very nice at first, but a closer inspection reveals there's some strange sourness and a burnt caramel touch that isn't very sexy. Dark chocolate, chocolate ganache and toffee. Oak, brown sugar and some booze. 646413 260410

Bottle, huge thanks Sandi for sharing it with us! Very dark brown body, traces of a greyish head. Raspberry aroma, bit fakeish, completely dominates with low coconut and not much else. The coconut notes dominate the sweet taste - sweet (rasp)berries, do show up, though overall things remain slightly less sweet than expected even. So much treatment and then the aromas (!) overwhelm everything... Sorry but... nah, not my cup of tea.

25cl on tap at Põhjala Brewery & Tap Room. Rather intense, complex aroma with coconut, roasted malt, coffee, dag chocolate, molasse, caramel, wood and some vinous notes and hints of rhum and alcohol. Velvety smooth with high flavour intensity and mild bitterness that balanced out some of the sweetness. Certainly desserty and rather nice, but still way over the top for me.
