Our flagship 'Proper Pilsner,' boasts a smooth, crisp flavour with a hint of malt and a refreshing bitterness. A true testament to Czech brewing tradition.

473mL can, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Nose has a huge amount of skunk cabbage / vegetal notes, smelling more like a cheap industrial macro lager than anything resembling a Czech pils. Flavour unfortunately confirms this, with lots of herbaceous notes, skunk cabbage, vegetal notes, basically no hops. What a travesty calling this a Czech pils. Crap.

Pale gold, soft carbonation. Thin head. Aroma is light, herbaceous, bit of saaz, and some pale malts. On the palate, fairly bitter, grassy, rather astringent in the finish. The malt character isn't bad. I appreciate that they wanted to hop this up, but it got grassy, and that's not ideal.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear pale blonde with small white head. Bland bready pils malt with mild bittering hops, average.
