500ml can from Benny’s Place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a clingy white head. The aroma is grainy mango, light orange. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, juicy, mango, light herbal, light dank, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 31A: oats / 22A). Can 50 cl - Batch 22.05.2026 a (BB: 22.05.2026). AROMA: medium-high hop aroma (fresh-green, slight grapefruit and lime, lupulin), with a medium-low to low neutral and slightly sweet malt background. APPEARANCE: pale yellow color and hazy (almost murky). medium-low white head, creamy, with ok retention. leg formation. TASTE: initial medium hop flavor (fruity, lupulin, slight lime, pine), followed by medium neutral-sweet malt background. medium to medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish with bitterness that persists. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a good double ipa but with less body than expected.
