Cask at the counting house Cornhill. A clear rich reddy copper coloured pour with a lasting loose magnolia head. Aroma is lovely rich layered malts and dried fruits, figgy pudding, red berries, mellow brown sugars, caramel, toasted notes,. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mellow cask condition, light alcohol bite in the finish. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded layered malts, spicy rye, toast, caramel, fruit cake with a little boozy hit. Woodland berries,. Rich, but drinks pretty easy for the abv. Really nice.

Bottle #077230. Ruby colour, small beige head. Malty nose with dark fruits and hints of licorice. Medium-bodied. Malty, licorice, minty hops, caramel and fruityness in the flavour. This vintage has very classic Fuller's Vintage taste. Good.

(Bottle, 0.5l, from Alko, 20251011) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized, frothy, white and it lasted long. Aroma had toffee, dark fruits, earth and light citrus notes. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were earth, toffee, grass, toasted notes and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasted malts, earth and bitterness. A very classic Fuller's taste. Aroma had some extra twist. Already good.

Bottle no. 028532. A beautiful, dark reddish brown beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has dried fruitness, prune, apricot, caramel, also light notes of fresh citrus. Taste has caramel, dried apricot, the bitterness is drying the taste nicely. Medium bodied. Very nice vintage, I'd say that this will be improved and smoothening after aging.

Cask at The Swan, Bayswater, London. A dark ruby amber/brown coloured pour with a medium bubbly off white head on top. Rich, sweet, boozy, orange marmalade, dark fruit, caramel aroma and taste. Very nice, but quite sweet. Much better than last years Vintage, will definitely buy more for ageing.

26/9/2025. Cask at the London Brewers Alliance Beer Festival 2025. Deep clear ruby pour. Aroma is boozy, sherry, woody, plummy, dried fruits, tobacco, biscuit, toffee. Medium sweetness, moderate developing bitterness. Quite full bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Very good and for me better than recent vintages but maybe from cask trumps bottles?

A splendid autumn/winter ale. I have had bottles from several years but for the first time I had draught Vintage Ale. Full of flavour, a delicious beer. Half a pint in The Plough, Northfields.
