A delicious dry cider made with fruit from a 90 year old orchard. Naturally sparkling, this cider has been disgorged à la volée. In using this ancient French technique, used in champagne making, we are able to remove the sediment from the bottle. The work is all done by hand and is slow, labour intensive and highly skilled but is preferable to us in terms of retaining flavour than the more industrial process of filtering.

750ml bottle from Artistraw. Orangey golden colour, foamy white head that quickly dissipates and aroma of apple, leather, funk. Taste is tart, tangy, sweet, appley, core, with barnyard funk, leather, alittle caramel, and earthy tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying funky tannic finish. Nicely drinkable
