Gravity dispense at the Royston, Broadstairs, 01/10/2025.
Black with a khaki cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is toffee, dark malts, caramel, molasses.
Taste comprises cocoa powder, caramel, hint of sticky toffee pudding, caramelised brown sugars.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
Okay does what it says on the tin affair but runs a little too sweet for my liking.

I'm surprised the Sticky Toffee Pudding style hasn't been abbreviated yet given it's become a popular style, I'm still waiting for the ex footballer Tomáš 'Rosický Toffee Pudding' to emerge!! This one is really good regardless, a brand new beer separate to their previous strong version. It's in its aftertaste where the toffee comes to the fore and lingers very long. Lots to enjoy in aroma too.
