The team from Blind Enthusiasm trekked out West to help brew this little English golden ale as a tribute to mild and quaffable pub ales. It’s poured through a creamer tap, forcing some carbonation out and creating a velvety texture and smooth head. Be gentle with our bar staff — these guys take six minutes to pour. Your patience is well rewarded, though. The grain bill is a blend of golden and biscuit malts for a robust but balanced profile with a touch of nuttiness. Sapphir and Strisselspalt hops lend a noble hop spice with a whiff of citrus and fruit. It's clean, lightly malty, smooth and satisfying.

Stiff Upper Biscuit is a draught-only release.

Slight haze, pale amber, pours with a thick head. Aroma is clean. There’s some gentle malt, biscuit sure, but the stupid sparkler or whatever gimmick pour they use here embarrasses both breweries and kneecaps the complexity of the beer.

On cask at The Magnet, pours a clear dull golden with a large white head. Aroma has soft bready malt, very soft English hops, not much else. Flavour is fairly neutral, with a fungal/mushroomy character that so many British cask ales have and subtle bready malt. Correct mouthfeel. Reasonably authentic / boring as hell.
