If we had a dollar for every time a fellow brewer claimed a Belgian Dubbel was a bad idea, we could open a second Belgian-inspired brewery! If our original Dubbel, B., Sirius was a bad idea, then this one is A Better Bad Idea. This A.B.B.I. beer was inspired by the Westmalle Dubbel and far different than B., Sirius - a more complex malt bill and darker candi sugar make for a maltier version of a Dubbel. Perfect with food.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear coppery brown with an off-white head. Dark fruit, molasses, toffee aroma. Flavor has a yeasty edge, dark fruit, molasses, nutty. Pretty nice.
