Poured from the tap @ Wheelhouse. Clear blonde gold with small white head. Light biscuit malt with sprucey berry notes. The spruce is nice, but the base beer is a bit bland.

On tap at GCBF 2016, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly subdued on the spruce, with biscuity malt and only light earthy woodiness. Flavour is not very spruce-heavy and much fruitier instead, with some dry berries, biscuity malt and light spruce. Berries on the finish with little residual sweetness. Not sure what the point of this is; it's okay.

Aroma has light smoke, light amber colour. Bitterness, smoke, bit thin, the kolsch part is weird but it’s a nice beer.
