Ramble Tamble has a beautiful tart and jammy raspberry flavour.
The beer spent over two years in French oak puncheons in our cellar. We then transferred it onto a lot of raspberries, upon which it refermented for three months.
A moderate acidity and slight funk complement the fresh, bright raspberry flavour which is front and centre.
This beer was first released in 2021 and was the first barrel aged beer we ever released. It was named after our beloved Berkshire boar, Ramble Tamble, who was a fixture of the farm for over a decade. He sadly passed away in 2024, and we decided to re-release this beer ahead of Slake's fifth anniversary to celebrate the kind and gentle nature of this one-tonne beast.

A purple red ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity raspberry jam with light acidity, light Brett, light lactic notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity raspberry jam with light acidity, light Brett, light lactic notes, very nice. Can from brewery
