This true American Lager is made with 100% Pilsen malt with a delicate body and light hop profile. Lagered in the tradition of the style to full maturity. It’s a break from the typical craft American beer scene.

Aromas are good, kind of pilsner like, wet and dry grain pale malt and hops. Flavors are like nose fairly dry and bitter upfront with a bit of sweet at the end. Good carbonation and body. Nice finish. Tasty beer.

Bottle: Very pale yellow with a large, puffy, white head. Lemon, barley malt aroma. Taste is sweet and slightly tart lemon, grain malt. Lightly peppery, citric..... Actually a pretty nice body to it. Not bad at all.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with bready malt and light earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness for a good bit. Great robustness of bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes presence. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is an excellent pale lager! All around great robustness of bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavors and never watery feeling for the ABV. Nothing but clean Pils malts and mild earthy hop balance. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Bottle pours clear light pale, the color of american light beer. Taste is a little more personality than a thin pale lager, some citrus in there too. Cutting co2, yum. Lots of head with each top off. Just enough bitterness to know its beer and never in your face. Surely an enjoyable departure from the american craft beer scene, nice. Smooth easy and friendly, clear to the end. Friendly looking label as well.

2 month old bottle > pilsner glass. A: Poured a bright pale yellow with very little head or retention. Crystal clear with slow bubbles rising. S: Woody bread pils scent with hints of hay and grass. T: Some grassy hop bitterness at first sip joined by lightly toasted bread. Bitterness remains at the finish. Simple and clean. M: Light and a little thin bodied with crisp snappy carbonation. Very clean dry finish. Refreshing and crushable. O: Better than expected. Reviews here are bad but I find this very enjoyable with great bread aroma and flavor.

Sample at the taproom. Slightly hazy pale golden color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of malt and grassy hops. Light-bodied with flavors of crackery malt, mild hops and a bit of fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
