From a pounder can purchased at total wine in cary NC. Smell has a little chocolate and yeast in it. Look is very dark with little head. Taste is fairly mild, better than expected. Better than most chocolate beers. Smoother and easy. Probably because its such a low %ABV. Yes, almost enjoyable. Not bad overall. Chocolate is well balanced in this one.

Draft at Olde Hickory taproom. Pours clear, red-brown with a creamy beige head. Ripened dark fruits in the aroma, toasted brown bread and hints of chocolate. Medium sweet flavor with artificial chocolate, berries, sugar, light coffee. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lingering fake chocolate character, sugar syrup, caramel. A bit saccharin and insincere.

On tap @ Olde Hickory. Pours a hazy dark reddish appearance with a tan head. Some dark fruits in the nose. Caramel and brown sugar and chocolate also. Moderately to highly sweet. Tons of cocoa. A touch of earth and vanilla. Maybe a little too sweet but not horrible.
