We used over 60% German wheat for this beer. Unlike a traditional Hefeweizen that focuses on the banana and clove balance, we went in a different direction. Our Hefe emphasizes the banana esters of the style with minimal clove. Lightly hopped, fruity, refreshing, and perfect for all the seasons.

Can for $2 fitty at vintage. Pour is certainly looking like a hefe. Fer sher its got unfiltered yeast and wheat proteins suspended in there. Nose is a little like a wheat ale, no sign of typical hefe aroma. First taste is mild and friendly, no wheat ale illnesses. However, it does lack those pleasantries we typically find in a good hefe. In the middle, just maybe I'm getting a tad of bubble gum or banana, not sure. Not a whole lottah spice or coriander in this baby. The co2 level in this is good and that makes it quite bubbly and refreshing on the palate. Overall, not bad. A sortah cross between a clean fresh well-made light macro lager and a good hefe. Quite enjoyable. No sediment on the bottom of this can.

Cloudy golden yellow with moderate white head. Banana, bubble gum, clove, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Moderately sweet banana, bubble gum, wheat malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body.
