Crafted as the original Fresh Hop IPA from Bale Breaker, a version of Piled High has been brewed each year since 2012 (the year BEFORE we actually opened) and has won awards multiple times at Yakima's Fresh Hop Ale Festival. Brewed in the middle of a hop field with fresh Simcoe® hops from our family farm, Loftus Ranches, it takes just 4 minutes to get the fresh hops from the picking machine to the kettle. Aromas of fruit loops, berry, pineapple, mango, orange, and dank with the world's smoothest bitterness.

On tap at Bale Breaker - Seattle, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma has soft piney hops, light citrus, and soft doughy malt. Flavour is super clean, with tons of piney hops dominating, with just enough doughy malt to back. Excellent by-the-books WC freshie.

On tap at Bale Breaker / Yonder taproom. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Bright, dank pine on the nose. Flavour has a really nice, clean dank piney hop expression and a light, doughy fresh hop character. Very nicely done.
