Our Wake Up Porter is an irresistibly smooth brew with locally roasted coffee and fresh vanilla beans. We use Central Coffee Co.’s Sumatra Lintong coffee and carefully chosen specialty malts to create a warm foundation and light body. Madagascar vanilla beans lend a subtle sweetness on the finish that you’ll notice at the end of every velvety sip.

6 week old pint can A: Poured hard to 1 of light brown bubbly foam. Black with tea colored highlights. Very good retention and sheets of lace. S: Coffee, cream, sweet chocolate, caramel and faint vanilla. T: Bitter roasty grains and coffee dominate but allow a sweet creaminess to emerge. Vanilla and sweetness are subtle and nice. M: Smooth texture, light carbonation and an ashy, sticky finish. O: Quite a change-up from the light sweet nose to the mostly bitter roasty flavor. As tasteful as it is tasty. Extremely good.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can poured into a cup. Black with small beige head. Aroma is coffee, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is coffee and a little chocolate.

Draft at Davidson Street Public House. Pretty much opaque brown color, see pic please. Aroma of burnt brownies dipped in coffee. Taste is burnt earthy espresso. Very tasty.
