Our classic West Country sparkling cyder
This is our signature cyder, made exclusively with apples from our 70-acre estate orchard. Blending over 20 traditional apple varieties, it's a classic West Country cyder: fresh, gently carbonated and very sessionable.
Orchard Amble is rounded and balanced, with toffee, custard apple and some warm tropical notes. It's a vibrant medium-dry on the palate, finishing clean and dry, making it an easy-going cyder that's perfect anytime, with anything.
We gather the apples daily throughout October, only harvesting them as they fall to ensure they're naturally at peak ripeness. Unique with every vintage, our Orchard Amble reflects the ebb and flow of the year's seasons, giving a true taste of Somerset and capturing the very essence of our estate in every bottle.
Our cider is spelt with a ‘y’ to preserve the old West Country tradition, originating from a time when it was used to indicate superior strength and quality.

750ml bottle from the Newt. Clear golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of apple, caramel, custard. Taste is sweetish, appley, fruity with tropical hints, caramel, toffee & custard notes, and some bittersweet tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying fruity tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
