An Alternate Reality IPA – but make it FRESH Estate Grown Comet Hops from Crosby.

Brewing beer is a science. But when you’re working with new ingredients, it’s also an art, and you have to test your colors before you put them on the canvas. That’s why we made Mirrored Realities.

In this Fresh Hop Reality – a mirror image of itself – you’ll find 500 pounds of Fresh Comet Hops. Straight from the farm, to the hopback, to the hot side of this unparalleled West Coast IPA faster than you can draw all homeomorphically irreducible trees of size n=10.

It’s a glimpse into an alternate reality, using the newest, freshest hop science to create the beer of the future.

Hops: Fresh Comet, Waimea, Nelson Amplifier Oil, Apollo Extract, Comet, Comet CGX
Malts: Rahr Pilsner, 2Row, Flaked Wheat, Weyermann Acidulated

OnTap at Belmont Brew House, Crystal clear deep bright golden. Full puffy white head. Mild mellow piney hop aromas, but quite a punchy, aggressive, resinous, and bitter citrus peel hop flavor and bitterness.

16 oz can from Kaniksu Brewing. Aroma is piney, guava, crackery, onion revealing itself late. . Pours clear golden with a one+ finger cream white head with great retention. Taste has a moderate to high pithy bitterness with flavors like the aroma descriptors.

16 oz. can, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma has a very melony hop character, plenty of dankness, some oily resins, and pine. Flavour has gentle dankness, fresh leafy hops, oily resins, lightly bitter pine, and some doughy malt. Assertively hopped, yet not particularly bitter. Super balanced and easy-drinking despite the hop bill. Excellent.
