This modern Festbier was brewed in the prevailing style of Oktoberfest beers served to millions of revelers every year in Munich's beer halls and tents. Unlike the festbiers of old (Märzen), these versions are pale in color, with hop aromas of noble spice. Malt character remains the focus, but with notes of fresh-baked bread, a touch of toasted crust, and a dash of floral honey sweetness. The finish is clean and bright, emphasizing the highly quaffable nature of this beer that's built to party.

Dull gold, thick head, herbal, grassy with lots of pale malt. Not really marzeny for me.

On tap at Ravenna, pours a clear blonde with a s mall white head. Aroma has sweet cereal malts, bready notes, and straw. Flavour is fairly dry and yet malt-forward, with straw, cereal malt, and bready malt. Reasonably constructed. Decent.
