Four years ago Casey and the crew of @bbaybrewery came over to brew an enormous Imperial Scotch Ale inspired by their world class Scotch Ale. We then let it rest in Willet Bourbon Barrels for FOUR YEARS. We selected two of the bourbon barrels for blending and we could not be more stoked to share this with you all. Imagine Bertha with a Scottish twist to it.

Dark brown. Super rich willett, toffee and dark sugars galore. Length for days, rolling alcohol, tannins, vanillins, dark fruit, sugars, bourbon, all that good shit. Fuck, this is amazing.

On tap at Structures - Old Town, pours a deep dark brown with a tiny beige head. Aroma is decadent and complex, with intense bourbon barrels, rich caramel, toffee, and brown sugar — damn. Flavour is intense as hell, with humongous bourbon barrel character, oodles of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and sticky sugars. Rich and syrupy, but without being cloying; the barrels keep the sugars in check. Sublime.

On tap at Structures . Pours muddy dark brown with no head. Tons of intense bourbon barrels, dark sugars, and dried dark berries on the nose. Flavour is ridiculously intense with loads of charred bourbon barrels, molasses, dark sugars, rich bready malts, and some dried dark berries. Rich, sweet, and super intense; the sweetness from the malts and sugars kept in check with the boozy bourbon. Amazing.
