A historical specialty of the city of Bamberg, in the Franconian region of Bavaria in Germany, the Rauchbler is an elegant, malty German amber lager with a balanced, complimentary beechwood smoked character. The GVBC RauchbIer malts smoked with cherry weed. A clear, coppery colored beer with a rich creamy head, the toasty Rauchbier balances a blend of smoked malt & Vienna malts with low hop flavor. Medium to high carbonation lends a crisp, clean feel to the mouth.

Draft at the source. Hazy golden color. Aroma of burnt straw. Taste has burnt caramel and subtle smoulder. Nice one.
