There is sauerkraut in my lederhosen. I repeat: There is sauerkraut in my lederhosen! Which is exactly the way it should be when drinking a Oktoberfest-style Märzen, brewed with 100% imported German ingredients. Bring the bierhaus to your haus with this award-winning, ubër popular seasonal beer that delivers a blitzkrieg of rich malt and caramel sweetness. Pairs perfectly with traditional festival favorites, like Bauernseufzer, roasted pig knuckle, and Bavarian soft pretzels that are larger than your head. Oans, zwoa, g’suffa!

En bra oktoberfest öl. Smak av karamell, malt, torkad frukt. En aning för söt men fyllig och god.

355 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours rather clear dark amber with a frothy offwhite head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with sweet dark bread, prunes, grass, banana bread, overripe lemons, red apples and hints of burnt cookies. Taste is sweet, tiny bitter and malty with sweet dark bread, slightly dry grass, lemon zest, cookie dough, prunes, wood and hints of sheet metal. Mouthfeel is round, soft and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, tiny bitter and malty with dark bread, grass, lemon zest and hints of sheet metal.

(Bottle) Brownish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly toasty nose with dark bread, treacle, orange peel, caramel and dried fruit. Malty, toasty taste with notes of caramel, treacle toffee, dark bread, orange, dried apricots and a mild, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and quite nice.

Bottle. Clear copper with a medium head. Aroma of toffee, bread and some notes of fruit. The taste was thin with butter, toffee and malt. Medium bitterness and with something in the finish that was not too impressive.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, deep amber/red liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma is quite sweet and malty with notes of toffee, caramel, toasty malt, biscuits, bread, nutty malt. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter and quite malty. Light to medium bodied with ok carbonation. OK oktoberfestbier, nice that it’s darker than most and that it’s märzen.

Little cloudy red to rust brown beer, beige creamy head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, sweet malts, ripe fruits, bit of hops and alcohol, candy, pharmaceutical disinfectant in the end. MF: very light carbon, medium body, smooth texture. Taste: bit dusty first impression, hops, wood, little bit of raisins, alcohol, watery. Aftertaste: bitter hops, again the disinfectant, bit of citrus.
