Sample at the taproom. The beer is a dark brown-black color with a medium creamy light beige head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee aroma. Light-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, and some mild chocolate in the background. The finish is sweet and creamy with a roast malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
