Canned 9/18/25, drunk 10/7/25.
Slightly darker than usual, bronze-maize. Big, frothy, well-retained, off-white head.
Lovely christmasy spice to it thanks to all these spicy/woody/slightly piney hops. But of course, not too much pine, no resin, and no alcohol or caramel. Yeast is very fruity/estery, with round, white bread-like malts to easily balance.
Bright and floral with wood and spice. Christmas potpourri galore with lots of West Coast flavors in a sweet, soft, round, heavily fruity New England vessel. I love the up-front spice, but the bitterness/acidity is very, very weak as it nears the finish. All that said, it's an interesting beer and always nice to see a non-cookie-cutter NEIPA. Pretty hard to do much new stuff with the style.
