Bottle. Nose is slight Belgian yeast, a little straw, very very thin. Taste is slight straw, herbal, leading to strawberry and summer fruits, and a dry slightly woody finish. There is a slight metallic note in the mid range. It’s not a terrible beer, but it’s hard to see an occasion one would drink over a proper Belgian Saison. The bottle promises it’s cold conditioned which is evidence enough that it’s brewed by idiots. I am also very unclear what is contemporary about its ’take’. Edit: As I got through this beer it deteriorated and the malt tastes came through at the expenses of the subtler elements. Taste downgraded.
