12.7 oz wax-dipped bottle. Aroma is cherries, brett, dusty basements, strawberry Starbursts, strawberry wafers, lemon, funk, earth. Pours slightly hazy golden with a thick soapy off-white crackly head with excellent retention; no lace. Taste is dry, lightly tart, savory. Annoyingly foamy mouthfeel. It’s so much carbonation, there’s barely any liquid to swallow--it’s practically all foam. In short, it smells good, tastes ok, but due to the carbonation, it’s hard to drink.

Sample on tap at the brewery. Clear, light pink color, with some bubbles. The nose is cherries, wheat, and cloves. Sweet and sugary, with a nice, crisp tart bite. Light to medium body, lightly acidic, crisp, and clean. This is a sharp and refreshing cherry sour, but isn’t very complex.

Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. Hazy with a small head. Aroma and taste of yeast, berries and funk. Drinkable but kind of weak.

Waxed bottle poured and split. Clear copper pour with a big bubble head. Apple and sweet malt aroma. Harsh boozy front, with an apple and gentle spice late flavor. Tastes as strong as it is. Dominant apple flavor. Fun beer that borders a few styles. Pretty good beer

Bottle, pours a hazy light pink/orange with a quick fizy head. Vague sweet fruit flavors of chery and strawberry. Very fruit forward and abit odd.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange ruby with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is cherry puree and funk. Thin mouth sweet cherry, light tartness, booze is present but not overpowering, very good.

From the March 2014 Pittsburgh Ratebeer gathering. +++ Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a red-orange color with a large pinkish white head that faded and left minimal lacing. The aroma was tart, somewhat sweet and vaguely fruity. The flavor was tangy with notes of bread, vague fruits, honey and dough. Medium length tangy fruit finish with honey and bread dough lingering. Medium body. Ok.

GABF 2011. Pours with a white head over a hazy golden body. Aromas are estery, grassy, cherry and grainy. Moderate phenol and some alcohol. Flavors are estery, grainy, grassy, biscuity and boozy. Phenols, fusel, cherries. Not that bad to be honest. Medium to light carbonation. Feels big!
