The radicle is the first part of a seedling to emerge from the seed. And so our Radicle Red IPA brings together an emerging artist and a brewer, collaborating in celebration of the 60th annual Toronto Outdoor Art Fair.

Started in 1961 by Murray and Maravelle Koffler, the TOAF has helped launch numerous careers. Notable artists such as Ken Danby, David Blackwood, Joanne Tod, Jennifer Stead and Harlan House exhibited here during early stages of their careers, and in 2021 Varvara Nedilska did the same, winning the Best of Student award.

Says Varvara: “My illustration reflects on the role beer has played in my life and the way I’ve seen it bring friends together during the pandemic, watching the sun go down together while sharing a drink.”

We hope you’ll agree that this Radicle Red IPA is a work of art in its own right!

A deep dark reddish copper ipa with a thin mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with piney resinous hops, roasted character, very nice. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with resinous piney hops, grapefruit pulp, light roasted character, very nice. On tap at brewery.
