This is our Harvest Lager aged in a used French oak white wine barrel for 4 months and then refermented in bottle.
The result is an opening up of the floral aroma and a mellowing of the bready malt character and the more fruity aromas along with the incorporation of a delicate, sweet, cedar like aroma contributed by the wine barrel. And finally, a rounding and refinement of the finishing bitterness.

On tap at Deya taproom Saturday 11th October 2025 in the company of Dad, Pauline, Scott, Mand' and Oscar. Pours clear mid gold with a white head that's a clinger on the glass. Not sure if it is intentional or not but there is a slight hint of vinegar on the nose, only slight but it's there. Taste wise it's fine, nice mouthfeel, decent balance, very slight bitterness, light fruity edge. Good but was hoping for better.
