On tap at Max’s Rare and Obscure 2016, pours a very dark black with loads of frothy, tan head. Nose is mostly malt and toast, some bakers chocolate, licorice, some caramel, booze, a little vanillin. Flavor has lots of dark chocolate, toasted wood, burnt bread crust, tobacco leaf, booze, licorice. Finishes full bodied, but mostly dry.
