Herencia – Modern Kriek
Herencia is our take on a new-age Kriek, brewed with real cherries from our own village of Zarra.
The name Herencia means heritage — a tribute to the land and people that inspire us every day.
We use a special yeast strain that naturally produces lactic acid, giving the beer a soft, gently tart finish without overwhelming sourness. It’s beautifully balanced, making it the perfect introduction to the world of sour beers.
Best enjoyed cold and in the sun — Herencia is pure joy in a glass.

Draft @ Barcelona Beer Festival 2026.
Couleur léger ambre/acajou, col fin rosé peu tenace.
Arôme sur un léger fruité cerise, pas mal de fleuri / verger, bonbon cerise avec une pointe d'acidité en rétro-nasal.
Palais sur une belle base de cerise avec une finalité 'sour' assez délicate - fleuri en retrait avec une amertume houblonné en support. Acidité modérée sans verser dans une style spontanné. Petit effet de levure pâtissière comme je le retrouve dans certaine berliner.
C'est sympa mais il manque le petit qcq chose en plus niveau du fini.

Can 0,33 ltr: Hazy brownreddish colored brew with an sweet sour taste with hints of cherries which are not that sour.
