Thanks Nate.
Bottle to pokal, the appearance was a golden transparent sort of color to it. Sly carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace to fill a quickly dissipating foamy to fizzy head, boy that didn’t last. No lace.
The aroma had some blood orange pulp and rind up front with some grassy and funky notes. Subtle sweet effects. Dried floral with a little bit of grain/wheatiness. Some basement/driftwood coming out.
The flavor was initially sour with the coming of the driftwood/basement funkiness a bit more forward than expected. Some pucker with acidity coming about. Aftertaste fully embraced the sour to funky yet sweet orange pulp. Finish was spritzy with a ton of carbonation and sour to tart qualities.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a carbonation that didn’t seem to want to cooperate with the acidic levels or the basement funky pungent harshness.
Overall, if this isn’t a sipper of a beer, then nothing is. Daggum, Nate? Really, dude? Odd Berliner to me as I don’t think they \"sour-ed\" the wheat the way they were supposed to.

4 oz pour on draft at Manor Hill. Clear straw yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, dirt, funky notes, pungent cantaloupe, something like Play-Doh. Tastes of orange citrus, pungent cantaloupe, dirt, funky cheese. Seems a bit off for a berliner to me.

Draft at brewery. Cloudy yellow color. So much vomit, smells like my baby vomited and I left it out for a then added it to the beer. That’s the aroma. Flavor is tart orange soda and vomit. The soda is covering some of the vomit. Yuck. There is lacto and there is vomit, this is the latter.

Draft at the source. Clear golden color, bright white head. Aroma of feet and parmesan cheese, orange peel. Taste is lightly tart and cheesy citrus. Very tasty.
