Continuing the series, HopHeads #2. Brewed with Citra, Mosaic & Galaxy, this Hazy Double IPA bursts with peach, passion fruit, and tropical punch, layered with subtle hints of berries and citrus. Soft and pillowy in the mouth, it’s a perfect balance of flavor and smooth, hazy texture.

0.44 l can from 'Hetbiermoment.nl'. Very hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity-floral and a bit dank aroma of passion fruit, mango, pineapple and orange. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, very fruity-floral and a bit dank aroma of passion fruit, mango, orange, pineapple and some oats, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, very smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very solid DIPA, nicely fruity and smooth.

440ml can. Murky, orange, dark golden to amber colour with small to average, dense, creamy, moderately lasting minimally lacing, white head. Intense, dank and juicy, tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, oaty and wheaty malty background, notes of overripe tropical fruit, guava, lots of passion fruit, some mango, durian, yellow stone fruit, a touch of dragon fruit. Taste is zesty bitter, tart-ish, tropical fruity and minimally citrusy fruity hoppy, oaty and wheaty malty basis, minimally diluted notes of guava, orange, some mango; dry, rather mineral and papery as well as slightly alcoholic finish.
More "crumbly" than creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy, simultaneously dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Compared to the really good nose (intense and manifold) some shortcomings concerning taste, relatively off-putting colour - robust yet improvable.

Blik thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel oranje bruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van hop en citrus vruchten. De smaak is vol fruitig, zacht zoet, passievrucht en hop.
