An homage to our friend and one of the greatest plays of Super Bowl XVII, this brew is a collaboration with NFL Hall of Famer John Riggins. The 4th & 1 is a classic Pilsner crafted with greatness in mind - true to style using only traditional ingredients. Light bodied with subtle notes of nobel hops make for a game-winning pilsner.

Tallboy can from Wine Warehouse Charlottesville, 5/28/16. Slightly hazy yellow, large foamy white head, fair retention. Aroma of mild grass and pale grainy malt. The taste is pale malt, dough, grassy hops, a bit gluey. Thin bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

16oz pour at CTH comes a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose is mostly standard with grass and lemon, and honey and grist, a little plastic-y too. Flavor follows, some corn and malt, straw, lemon. Dry finish.

Draft: Little aroma, slight vinegar. Clear golden, thin head. Tart lemon initially, better balanced malt finish. Light body, easy carbonation. A respectable tribute to a great NFL player. The "Fun Bunch" were awful and deserve no such honor. -A Dallas Cowboys fan.

Draft pour at Spacebar. Poured a straw yellow color, with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma was malt, some light corn, wheat. Light wheat notes, touch of very light floral hops, light citrus. Pretty crisp and pretty tasty. Riggo!
