Witch Meadow Black 2025 saw our base blend of Witch Meadow Stout, aged an average of 18 months in Willett Family Estate Bourbon Barrels base, receive additions of organic Medjool dates from California’s Coachella Valley, organic Madagascar vanilla beans, sea salt from Amagansett Salt Co. on Long Island’s South Fork, and a gentle touch of baking spices. Salty caramel and sticky toffee pudding were top of mind as we leaned into the base beer’s layers of dark fruit, caramelized sugar, and oaky richness.

Bottle pours with a nice deep dark colored void of a body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up inviting chocolate fudge and then boozy vague spirits, vanilla, marshmallow and a dash of coconut. The taste delivers the same plus the Fox Farm fun malty goodness. Such a great sipper.
