A beery ode to ANZAC biscuits - oats, golden syrup, toasted coconut, plus actual ANZAC biscuits are blended in perfect harmony with suitably Antipodean hops, Eclipse and Rakau leaving fruity, citrus tones all over the place.

Tall font pour at Bow Bar. It pours clear rich amber with a decent white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, golden syrup, crunchy biscuit, toasted oats, dessicated coconut, cracker and brown bread. The taste is dry, retrained bitterness, pithy orangey citrus, tropical, coconut, syrup biscuits, oatcakes, toasty spice, wood, kick of booze, green, grassy, touch of tannin, wood and slight soapiness. Finish is bone dry and warming. Medium body and fine carbonation. Novel, yet remains quaffable.

From cask at The Bow Bar, Edinburgh. Soft apricot and biscuity malt, some caramel, ripe fruit, hint of coconut. Moderate bitter, light sweetish. Very nice, has plenty going on.
