The brethren sent me a bottle of beer. Dark ang glossy. Foamy tan head. Aroma is big. Rich dark chocolate with molasses. A sour streak... cherries. And booze. Flavourwise it's similar but with more sourness from the cherries yet also maple sugariness. Also some cherry skins bitterness into the finish. Medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Soft-fizzy carbonation is lively. Long somewhat astringent finish. A warming pud of an Impy Stout.
