American two row barley and malted rye provide the canvas for pungent Amarillo, Simcoe and Cascade hops to mingle with our house Saison yeast. Notes of grapefruit, peach, and bubblegum dance out of the glass and mellow into a refreshingly tart, dry finish.

Draft at Old Rapp Taphouse. Poured a clear yellow-orange color with a small, slightly off-white head. Aroma was light citrus, some mild fruit. Flavor was light bubble gum, with some mild floral notes. Flavor was nice light hoppy notes. Some funky yeast.

Hazy golden and pale straw coloured body with a thinnish, two centimetre tall pure white head that shows some movement from below. Aroma of grass, lemons, citrus, hay, light grain and a touch of mild hop bitterness. Light-bodied; Very grassy and herbal flavours showing at first with some floral and light hop characteristics along with some pale sweetness and a bit of hay coming through near the end. Aftertaste shows a mild funky flavour from the yeast and a very dry flavour profile throughout. Overall, a mellow and pale beer with some nice dry flavours, but nothing too exciting or new here. I sampled this 50 cL can purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop (20th Street Location) in Crystal City (Arlington), Virginia on 06-January-2017 for US$4,13 sampled at home in Washington a few blocks away on 15-April-2017.

Total Wine, Fairfax cans: pours golden with a fairly large head. Aroma is peppery and spicy with light yeast. Taste is fairly bitter especially at the finish. Lots of pepper and spice. Not the most chuggable saison and probably a bit too spicy for me.

Tap at World of Beer in...some DC suburb - turbid straw - nose of apricot and peppery phenolics - watery texture - medium sweet, with some peach and apricot that honestly tastes like baby food sometimes - a bit of white pepper, followed by a somewhat harsh bitterness - thin finish - meh.

I do believe it’s well past time to start drinking. $3.25 pint can from Wine Warehouse. Pours hazy golden-orange with a large off-white head. Aroma of citrus hops - mainly lemon peel, light bread, light funk. Flavor is tangy grasses, lemon peel, grapefruit, yeast, cracker. Meh,
