The Betty. Our Boston brewery pup! She just had to have her own beer.
A dry Irish Stout seemed to fit.
English and dark roasted malts deliver notes of coffee and chocolate.
Ian’s take:
Betty is small, but full of character and this beer is no different.
Bold chocolate and coffee, while being super easy to drink. We don’t make many stouts, but have a feeling this one might be around for awhile.
And how can you not love this label :-)
Betty was painted by Mel from White Dog Portraits, and I put together a classic looking label as a nod to a classic Irish Stout.

A deep dark stout with a thin creamy brown head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with dark coffee, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with dark fruits, light mineral notes, light cereals, pleasant. On tap at brewery.
