The second premiere, which we are preparing for the Poznań Beer Festival, is the Nutcracker in English. The beer was created in cooperation with the Poznań-based beer shop Browar Pod Nose, this time Sebastian and I put on ICE Imperial Sweet Stout with the addition of roasted coconut chips and hazelnuts. The beers themselves have been sitting in barrels of red dry Portuguese Porto Trawny for almost 2 years.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma is boozy, with coconut, a touch of toasted hazelnuts, some port barrels, and sugars. Flavour has lots of of burnt roasted nuts upfront, intense booze, a touch of coconut, port barrels, and dark sugars. Super boozy but everything is cohesive. Wonderful.

Medium brown. Figgy, slightly fruity, and boozy on the nose. It's got a soft body, with date-like nuts, with some interesting alcohol notes as well. That's the port finish, damn. This connects for me - it's got a great port finish, and maybe the base isn't perfectly rich but it's pretty solid.

330mL bottle. Pours very dark brown with no head. Loads of tawny port, caramel, and dark sugars on the nose. Flavour has great tawny port expression, dark sugars, caramel, molasses. Very boozy. This is fantastic, comes together very well.
