This deep red ale, aged for ten months in Scottish whisky barrels, greets the senses with a chocolate liqueur aroma.

At Steel City 49 Festival, Kelham Island - Dark ruby body, lasting white head. Heavy boozy nose, smoky whisky notes on top of some rich dark cake fruit maltiness. Excellent.

Sheffield CAMRA Beer Festival 2025, Beer#18. Got told off by security for my taking of the picture for this beer on safety grounds. Nevertheless I enjoyed the sweet boozy effort, which is dark amber-brown in colour. Nothing exemplary though.
