Our newest beer! This Dunkel lager, unlike most lagers, is black with robust chocolate, coffee, toffee, & nut aromatics & flavors. A slight roast up front finishes out clean & slightly bitter, begging for another sip. Looks like a stout but drinks much smoother & crispier!

16 oz. can from the brewery. Thanks Kathy! Pours a very dark brown-black color with dark ruby highlights and a light tan head and good retention. Great lacing too. Dark nutty malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Dark roasted malts, roasted nuts, and a hint of smoke in the finish. Really smooth and clean. Really tasty. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. I'm a fan.
