After making our first BBA stout we became obsessed with making the biggest bodied beer and smashing into it the most adjuncts we possibly could. This is a great base to use for experimentation and saturation of flavours and this excitement was exactly the reason we got into this brewing biz. Our favourite adjuncts over the years are classics that can easily provide flavour by using real ingredients: chocolate, coffee, vanilla, coconut, and cinnamon.
Notes: A very strong roast coffee presence thanks to Stereo Roasters, followed by an array of notes of coconut, chocolate, cinnamon, and vanilla.

Can at tasting, thx tiong!.
Poured black in color with a thin head.
Oily mouthfeel, light barrel notes, lots of cinnamon and vanilla here. Hides abv nicely. Feels heavy but quite pleasant to drink despite the heavy sweetness.

Smooth, slightly roasty with loads of coffee, chocolate, coconut, hints of cinnamon, cocoa and vanilla. Surprisingly balanced. Not much barrel notes.

On tap at Blood Brothers, pours jet black with a tiny brown head. Aroma has a decadent mix of cinnamon, coffee, cocoa, and a touch of vanilla, with gentle bourbon in the background. Flavour is complex, with a great blend of cinnamon and coffee upfront, followed by vanilla, and bourbon—not much coconut. It’s sweet but not cloying. Could use more roasted malt and much more attenuation, but it’s still got great depth.
